Thursday, July 24: A Mythological and Mutated Start
Percy Jackson and the Olympians – 11:00 AM
Disney+ returns to Hall H with the highly anticipated second season of Percy Jackson and the Olympians. Stars Walker Scobell, Leah Sava Jeffries, and Aryan Simhadri will be joined by the rest of the demigod cast and executive producers to debut exclusive footage and tease what’s to come when Season 2 drops this December.
Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 (Blumhouse) – 4:15 PM
The animatronics are back—and they’re bringing more terror. Blumhouse’s breakout horror franchise returns to SDCC with the cast and creative team behind Five Nights at Freddy’s 2. Expect trailer reveals, behind-the-scenes secrets, and maybe even a few jump scares.
The Toxic Avenger – 5:30 PM
Director Macon Blair, cult film legend Lloyd Kaufman, and an all-star cast—including Peter Dinklage, Elijah Wood, Taylour Paige, and Jacob Tremblay—will dive into their wild reimagining of The Toxic Avenger. Get ready for mutant mayhem and a fresh look at this gloriously gory reboot.
Friday, July 25: Sci-Fi Takes Over
Alien: Earth (FX) – 1:25 PM
Noah Hawley (Fargo, Legion) enters the Alien universe with Alien: Earth, a new FX series set to premiere August 12. The pilot episode will screen in Hall H, followed by a discussion with Hawley and the cast, including Sydney Chandler.
Predator: Badlands – 4:15 PM
Dan Trachtenberg (Prey) returns to the Predator franchise with Badlands. He’ll be joined by stars Elle Fanning and Dimitrius Koloamatangi to unveil exclusive footage and details about the most brutal installment yet.
Tron: Ares – 5:30 PM
The Grid is lighting up Hall H. Director Joachim Rønning and the cast of Tron: Ares—the long-awaited third entry in the Tron saga—will present a first look at the film and potentially reveal connections to the original films. Expect futuristic visuals and fan-favorite surprises.
